IMPORTANT! The following is information provided directly from the DOC Administrators: We’ve received multiple emails via DOC indicating training errors, described as a mix of login issues and Skillsoft‑specific bugs. Separately, we’ve also seen reports from BEA users encountering an error when reaching the first Knowledge Check in the course. Details we have so far:
In reported cases, users were able to resolve the issue by closing and reopening the browser/course. Skillsoft has asked that we share any Skillsoft‑specific trends we’re seeing, and for isolated user issues, users may be directed to Skillsoft Support’s live chat for quicker investigation and resolution. |
For NOAA | |
Please be aware that the admins have stated that the 'Understanding AI: Capabilities, Risks, and Responsible Use' training wasn't assigned to contractors and isn't available to them either, due to the limited licenses for contractors to access NOAA.
They have asked that we please don't tell contractors that the training is required, and instead, use the following verbiage.
Should contractors push back or want another solution, we can escalate them to Natahnya, using the standard escalation for NOAA. |
For NIST and Census |
For NIST and Census users, the admins have informed us that updates have been made to adjust the course availability for their contractors. Contractors in these bureaus should now be able to access the course if they have the appropriate user type (DOC User Type 2 and license. NIST (divisions beginning with CM57....) or Census (divisions beginning with CM63....)
They have also confirmed that Federal Employees should not encounter access limitations. |
Should any DOC users contact us stating they are trying to access the training, but get the SSO error message below...![]() Please forward/escalate these ( and only these ) straight to Darin Millz [ dmills@eskillz.com ] and Nicole Crubaugh [ ncrubaugh@eskillz.com ] and set the status to CLOSED. |
For USPTO |
The DOC USPTO Administrators have provided the following, should any USPTO users contact us about the following email they've received.
However, there was a typo in the initial email sent out, and the correct PPA code users will need to use to claim up to 45 minutes is: ATRAIN-0000-090101 |
